Job Description:

 

Work Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: 6 Months+

 

Must have 5 plus years VMWare. Windows Level 3 support. Server Restoration, Root Cause Analysis, Routine day-to-day maintenance and administration of windows servers, and Implementation of standard tickets and change requests.
· Problem resolution & troubleshooting
· Thorough knowledge of remote server management tools
· Identify problem areas and propose solutions
· Mentor team members
· Coordinate with different lines of services and ensure that SLA's are never missed
· Expert knowledge of and adherence to Change Control standards

Requirements:
· Strong VMWare background - VCP preferred. Ability to build VM clusters from scratch utilizing EMC and Netapp SAN. Troubleshooting of standard IBM x-series VM platform installations and Cisco UCS solutions. Intimately familiar with all aspects of vMotion and VM HA installations.
· Strong knowledge of Windows 2008 R2 and Windows 2003 Server including Active Directory, Clustering, DNS, and DHCP
· Knowledge and troubleshooting skills on MS Clusters, Windows Load Balancing, WSH Scripting and/or Powershell
· Knowledge of Windows Registry, including knowledge of modifying system registry to support installed applications and document configuration changes
· Strong verbal and written communication skills to document issues and activities in a positive & professional manner
· Team player with professional work ethic, positive attitude, and good interpersonal skills
· Ability to work effectively under time constraints
