Position for .Net Developer with WCF, MS SQL Server, Location NV, Need Local or Near by. 1 Yr project

Position: .Net Web Developer

Location: Carson City, NV

Duration: 12 Months

Consultant must perform all activities to the agreed upon project plan/schedule.

Evaluate:

1.      Understand Current Application

2.      Reveiw all curent application and project documentation

3.      Review and understand all requrements

4.      Interact with Project Manager and Business subject matter expers ( SME) to clarify as needed

5.      Understand all intergration points with other applications

6.      Understand internal deployment process and documentation

7.      Document questions and discovies found during evaulation period

8.      Document any changes or recommendations

9.      Update current documentation as needed

10.  Document estimates for milestones and project tasks

11.  Document all changes required for integrated applications

Develop/Deploy:

13.  Develop application

14.  Integrate application with dependent applications – make changes to integrated applications as needed

15.  Unit test to ensure components are working as designed and to minimize errors in test and user acceptance testing (UAT

16.  Document changes both inline and according to internal development standards

17.  Develop test plan as needed to ensure proper function and integration

18.  Deploy application code, and integrated application code changes into test

19.  Deploy application code, and integrated application code changes into test

20.  Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and perform bug fixes as needed

21.  Deploy to UAT and assist with user guide creation and update

22.  Prepare for production deployment

23.  Assist with production deployment of application and troubleshoot/ bug fix as required.

 

Requirements:

·         9 years of experience in developing .NET Web applications using a MS SQL Database

·         Application Development using the following .NET Framework with VB.NET

·         MS IDE's ( VS 2003, 2005, 2008, 2010)

·         Expert in WCF ( Windows Communication Foundation)

·         MS SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 ( DTS, Scheduler, SSRS, SSIS)

·         Expert in upgrading legacy applications to the latest technical development standards including the use of virtualization in all tiers

·         Excellent written and technical documentation skills;

·         Ability to function with little direction and minimum guidance

·         Ability to reverse engineer and develop application based on business and technical requirements

·         Knowledge of development within a physically separated multi-tiered architecture

·         Highly skilled in securing .Net applications

·         Must be extremely organized and provide thorough documentation

 

Desired:

·         Prior project management experience

·         Prior business analysis experience

·         Ability to work with customers to understand business needs and elicit requirements

·         Expert with iRise application modeling tools
