Required:
· Administer Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Enterprise Edition
servers, including: capacity planning and forecasting, storage
administration, disk space management, asset management, and performance
management.
· OS and software installation, system upgrades and patches,
and resolution of software issues
· User and security administration
· Implementation, configuration, management, tuning and
troubleshooting of Internet Information Server (IIS) v6 and v7
· Diagnosis of software and hardware failures, reporting of
failures and resolutions, coordination of hardware repairs, system
restoration to operational state following failures.
· Use tools, including IBM Tivoli Suite, to monitor performance,
system logs, applications, and scheduled tasks
· Creation of scripts to automate administrative, operational,
and application tasks
· Configure and Manage backup and recovery to include system and
application data backup strategies and full/partial system/data
restoration.
· Assist with application load and performance testing and
creating recommendations, and subsequent implementation, of
configuration changes to address system bottlenecks and poor performance
