Job Description : We still have several spots still open. Please submit additional candidates for review. The CDMA/EVDO/LTE Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and provisioning of Sprint Network Vision's core and backhaul network, including ePC, eNB, ATCA RNC, MM-BTS, 7750/7705, CMS, CMG, IPBH, IPSHO, TRFO, etc. services. Key Responsibilities / Functions: • Work in a team environment to gather appropriate info from the customer questionnaire to produce comprehensive detailed migration designs (CNDDs) and network implementation (provisioning scripts, config files, etc) to support Sprint Network Vision's core and backhaul's modernization requirements.• Be able to design and configure services, including ePC, eNB, IPBH, IPSHO, TRFO, 7750/7705, ATCA RNC, MM-BTS, 5E-PS (iPS), ECPless, MMCV4, ATM.• Be able to write scripts/tools to support provisioning and configurations• Establish and promote consistent design quality processes and practices, and ensure that procedures and tools are in place to support the design delivery. • Anticipate risks and develop contingency plans, and escalate quality issues• Identify and position upscope services when the design work falls outside of the agreed scope.Required Qualifications:  Strong leadership, good communication(Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge):   Outstanding inter-personal skills with a positive andand presentation skills.  Experience teaming with other ALU service delivery teams iscan-do attitude  Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering ornecessary  Minimum 7 years experience inrelated fields. Master's degree preferred.  In-depthWireless Network Design, with 3+ years in a senior design position.  knowledge of ALU's CDMA-EVDO/LTE/Backhaul technology, solutions, tools and  Strong knowledge in designing and data provisioning of MSC coreprocesses.  In-depth knowledge ofelements/eNB, RNC, eNB/BTS, IPBH, IPSHO, TRFO, 7750/7705. the transport network including Alcatel 7750s and 7705s, includes CLI interface  Strong IP knowledge in IP addressing, subnetting, routing protocols,hands-on  ALU Service Routing Certification (NRS-1) and CiscoVLAN, MPLS, etc. Certification (CCNA). NRS2, CCNP/CCIP/CCIE and JNCIP/JNCIE are highly desirable. Position in Naperville, but will consider remote candidates as well.
