DB2 DBA (Data Base Analyst/Systems programmer) for the IBM Mainframe

 

 

Summary of Skills required:

 

o             Recent experience with Mainframe DB2 (rel 8.1) software operating in a z/OS environment

 

o             Recent experience with DB2 Administration Tools and DB2 Utilities Suite

 

o             Experience with BMC Unload & Load Plus tools

 

o             Experience with CDB Copy & Reorg tools

 

o             Expertise in maintaining DB2 data bases

 

o             Experience with navigating in TSO and associated programmer tools

 

o             Experience with installing DB2 software and associated tools

 

o             Monitoring performance of DB2 databases  in particular experience with TMON for DB2

 

o             Experience with allocating and building Table Spaces

 

o             Experience with maintaining image copy, backup and restore job streams

 

o             Experience with DB2 accessed through CICS regions and the distributed facility
