Position: Hyperion Essbase Consultant

 

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: Long Term (1+ Year)        

                               

 

Required Functional or Technical Experience:

               

* Strong Hyperion Essbase design and development experience with both ASO and BSO databases, including combining the technologies to leverage their individual strengths

* Experience with the various types of partitions between ASO/BSO Databases

* Experience with complex multi-currency databases

* Experience with complex MDX formulas

* Finance experience with Planning/Forecasting process re-engineering and linkage to SIOP

* Development of complex calc scripts

* Performance tuning and database Sizing

* Aggregation Tuning (ASO)

* Strong ETL skills (perl, maxl, and shell scripting)"           

                               

Roles/Responsibilities:

               

* Participate with requirements analysis and documentation

* Work with client Hyperion ESSBASE and IT experts to design, develop, test and implement the ESSBASE database design

* Work with client Hyperion ESSBASE and IT experts to support

* Be responsible for design, development and test documentation which will be approved by Client team

 

Experience:                       

 

* Minimum of 5 -7 years expert experience in Hyperion ESSBASE ASO and BSO technologies

* Minimum of 5-7  years experience with standard IT methodologies and documentation"          

 

Good to have:

 

* SAP experience in FI/CO

* Honeywell Finance planning and forecasting"
