SAP Project Manager

Job Title: SAP Project Manager
Duration: 6 months
Location: Akron, OH

Job Description:
Manages customer expectations throughout the life cycle of the project.  Reviews deliverables prepared by team before passing to client. Effectively applies methodology and enforces project standards. Prepares for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.  Minimizes exposure and risk on project.  Actively manages project issues to resolution.  Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. May track and report team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.

This position will require an extensive amount of resource allocation management within a matrixed organization as well as a comprehensive communication plan.
The PM will be required to take a self-managed lead role and drive for deliverables.  We require a strong PM that is able to effectively communicate to the PMO Manager what the projects require in order to be ultimately successful.

Additional requirements:
Creates and executes medium sized work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope.

Other Comments:
Optimally, we would like a project manager to have the following qualifications and/or experience:
* SAP landscape architectural design and implementation
* SAP SD implementations or other modules
* CRM assessment, RFP work, or project planning for implementation
* current state assessment of the project / development of future state requirements
* assessing the level of requirements to be gathered
* assemble and manage the teams for each of the projects assigned
* develop and manage to a deliverables-based project plan
* manage to the plan, budget, and requirements; report weekly on status.
