Description :
Candidate with over 15 years of technical experience in architecting DB for large scale enterprise applications (web/client-server) that uses Microsoft technologies.
BS in Comp. Science from a good school
Technical Skills & Tools:
DB Designing: Creating transactional databases and data warehouses, defining and executing ETL jobs, data cleaning and transformation strategies, defining security, performance tuning/optimization, logical and physical data modeling, analytics, collaboration, reporting, etc. Expert in OLTP and OLAP. Expert in dimensional modeling techniques as well as service oriented architecture
Environment setup experience: Usage of Virtual Machines, installation, deployment & upgrades of DBs, Networking [basic configuration of client-server systems, etc.], IIS configuration, etc.
Tools exposure: Microsoft Tools list Visual Studio Team System, MS SQL 2008 [SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS], Master data services, MS performance monitoring tools, etc.
Requirement analysis and Use case writing using standard UML tools
Must Have:
Highly technical, subject matter expert on DB architecture and show complete accountability.
Demonstrated ability to ensure product quality is built in before product release.
Data warehousing, data mining, reporting, BI, ETL design and deployment, etc.
Recommend & Deploy performance improvement techniques.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems.
Documentation required for Design Control – medical device classification exposure.
Knowledge / working experience on web technologies like ASP.Net, etc.
