Job Description:

• This position is for a project coordinator who will be responsible for coordinating, communicating, and updating project management deliverables.
• This includes scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, updating various project documents, owning the issues list, maintaining the project schedule, communicating upcoming deliverables to the respective owners, and requesting status on project deliverables.
• While this person does not own project deliverables, they report status and escalate issues to the project manager.
• The project coordinator is responsible for tracking key project milestones and communicating tasks that are at risk of late completion.
• Coordinates communication with all areas of the project team that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.
• Assists the project manager with creating and sending meeting agendas.
• Must possess advanced knowledge and proficiency in the use of project management tools including Microsoft Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• This is an individual contributor role without human resource management responsibilities (e.g., hiring, performance management).
