Database Developer with Informatica/Oracle/Basel

Hi,

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Duration: 1 year (with possible extension)

Positions: 3

Start date is ASAP.

 

 Rate: DOE.

 

Client will move fast and looking to set up interviews.

 

Top 3 Skills Must Have:

Oracle, Informatica and Data Modeling.

 

Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or equivalent.

This project involves designing and building out a data mart in Oracle and integrating 9 data sources that service 9 different Commercial Lines of Business for a Basel II effort.

·      Experience with large complex systems in order to apply that knowledge at a strategic level, influencing technology solutions that match the goals and objectives of each line of business within PNC

·      Strong communications skills to effectively communicate with and make recommendations to internal business partners

·      6+ years working with enterprise BI tools (Cognos, Business Objects, etc)
   including working on the semantic layer as well as the reporting layer  

·      6+ years Oracle experience (SQL and PL/SQL)   

·      3+ years MS SQL Server experience (SQL and T-SQL)    

·      3+ years of data modeling

·      3+ years Informatica development experience

·      1+ year Linux/Unix scripting

·      Commercial Lending data analysis a plus.

·      Previous application development experience a plus. 

·      Experience modeling large data marts for ad-hoc query and reporting needs.  Experience with eliciting and documenting data requirement and reporting needs from clients.

·      Must possess project methodology understanding and experience, excellent planning and organizational skills and a solid understanding and of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) are required.
