Unix Admin with I3 and Hobit | Austin, TX |

Hello,

Unix Admin  [ Location: Austin, TX   |   Duration: 1 + 12 mos    |   

 

Must have - Hobbit and I3

 

·         Senior level Unix Systems Administration

·         Experience in creating and troubleshooting complex shell Boerne and K-shell

·         Trouble shooting of distributed open systems environments to identify issue system software issues

·         Ability to use systems tools and scripts to monitor system performance and tunes system for maximum efficiency

·         Experience with change management software and processes to report and resolve issues.

·         Knowledge of system administration system utilities to identify and correct system in efficiencies.

·         Knowledge of Java Virtual machine Tuning

·         Experience in performing system maintenance, OS patches and upgrade.

·         Working in 24X7 on call pager rotation environment

·         Possess good oral and written communication.

·         Possess good technical and process documentation skills

 

 

 

·         Knowledge of automation concept of deployment processes procedures.

·         Knowledge and experience in installation and configuration of Websphere and application and portal software

·         Knowledge and ability to install, setup and configure web servers in a distributed and load balanced topology.

·         Knowledge and ability to install setup and configure Websphere and application and portal servers.

·         Ability to configure and utilize system monitoring software such Hobbit and I3 for the purpose of identifying and correcting server software inefficiencies.

·         Ability and knowledge to create, analyze and troubleshoot scripting languages such as Perl, JavaScript and Jython

·         Experience with Websphere installation and configuration Automation framework (WICA) to deploy portal clustered environments
