Job Title: Java Developer with Flex experience

Duration- 12 Months

Location: New York, NY

 

Job Description:

 

This role requires experience in developing rich internet applications that are tailored for performance and ease of use.  The candidate must work effectively within a global team to rapidly implement solutions and deliver production quality applications which are highly supportable and maintainable.

 

 

Technical

•          Expert level proficiency in web application development using Java EE / Java 

•          Extensive experience with Java EE application containers (Tomcat, Weblogic, etc.)

•          Experience developing RIA(s). Flex strongly preferred

•          High volume http server push technologies (Adobe LCDS/BlazeDS, Lightstreamer, etc)

•          Test driven development – unit and integration testing

•          Guaranteed messaging (JMS, Tib RV, etc.)

•          Continuous Integration and build systems (Maven, Hudson, etc)

 

Business

•          Knowledge of Fixed Income and/or FX business
