Role: Sr. Business Analyst
Location: downtown Minneapolis
Duration: 4-6+ month contract
Face to Face required.
Responsibilities:
Business Analysis
• Collaboration with business owners on various needs for system functionality
• Business objectives gathering
• Requirements gathering and documentation
• User story analysis and writing
• GUI wire framing based off requirements, user stories etc.
• Issue tracking and resolution
• Release and spring planning
• Shepherd specifications through development and QA
Technical Analysis:
• Analysis of technical issues and problems as a precursor to turning over to engineering team
• API analysis
• Data mapping
• Documentation of technical specifications
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience
• Prior technical experience is a major plus
• Strong communication, documentation and interpersonal skills
• Function effectively in a dynamic setting with fast-changing requirements and ambiguity
• Using modeling tools and standard analysis notations
o Statechart/state diagrams, activity diagrams/flowcharts, swim lane diagrams
• Using tools for wireframe construction
• General familiarity with modern social networking system, Web 2.0, mobile and other leading-edge technologies
• Experience with Agile
• Experience with software releases under tight timeframes
• Working effectively with offshore teams
