Experience/Knowledge/Skill

*    Excellent written and communication skills

*    Experience with VDI environments

*    Experience architecting storage area networks

Duties/Responsibilities

The Senior IT Professional will work with the current senior IT Management to analyze and make recommendations for VDI and Cloud Computing. Additionally will research and architect data storage.

*    Evaluate VMware virtualization architecture, providing recommendations for upgrade and maintenance

*    Evaluate and architect affordable Storage Area Network for existing storage needs

*    Recommend futrue Storage Area Network solutions for all agencies including hardware sepcifications and tiered storage scheme

*    Devise an application vitualization strategy to provide VDI application streaming readiness

*    Work with infrastructure and system administration teams to optimize environment for implementation of VDI
