Project Description –

Data architect:

The person we would be looking for is someone to help build a "warehouse" environment from design, construct, implement and overall governance.  This person would be responsible for the following:

1.    Assisting the team in evaluating and selecting hardware, middleware, database management, data transformation, cleaning,reporting, querying, analysis and mining software.
2.    Creating overall data warehouse architecture and setting and enforcing standards
3.    Developing methods to ensure data compatibilities among systems
4.    Incorporate appropriate levels of data scrubbing in non-production environments but maintaining appropriate data integrity
5.    Develop a standards development committee across IT teams
6.    Gaining consensus among the user departments on common data definitions for newly identified data elements.
7.    Providing leadership and assistance to programmers, team leads, and analysts in designing solutions and in resolving design problems.
8.    Monitor industry trends and identify emerging technologies that should be adopted.
9.    Creating methods and strategies to validate warehouse reports produced

Project Overview:
Is a multi -year, all inclusive Human Resource and Technology program that will develop processes and solutions encompassing eight focus areas (Employee Data, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Exit Management, Leave Management, Performance Management, and Learning).
Projects from the various administrative functions will run simultaneously under this program.
Single Version of Reality Goals
* Identify and maintain a single source for all employee data elements
* Define where and how employee data will be used
* Develop and implement standardized processes that work across the firm to support, clean, standardize and secure employee data
* Leverage and deploy technologies to support efficient maintenance and distribution of  employee data
* Enhance LawCo capabilities to take advantage of the best in data, process, technology and people advisory practices
