· Excellent Cognos Report Studio development skills (they are on version 10.1 but will accept version 9 experience)
· Strong understanding of sql language
· Business Analytic skills – Ability to analyze historical and projected data and identify trends or anomalies
· Experience in Microsoft Excel/Word
· Ability to prioritize responsibilities and handle workload
· Excellent Communication Skills (extremely important)
· Ability to translate technical data into business logic
· Query Analyzer would be nice to have. They work with Toad as well.
80% of the job will be report development and the other 20% will be data analysis. There will also be customer interaction and business-facing responsibilities, so communication is key.
