Job Title: Java Architect
Location: Denver, CO
Duration: Long Term
1. At-least 5 years' experience as java architect.
2. Technical skills and knowledge in the areas of Java/J2EE , Apache Camel, Database (Oracle, MySql), Tomcat, Spring Framework, CXF etc to recommend and deliver optimal application structure
3. Strong knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Webservices
4. Experience with performance tuning complex applications is a must
5. Experience with instrumentation/analysis tools to identify system performance and scalability bottlenecks
6. Experience with Java code profiling and diagnostic tools like dynatrace, CA Introscope, Jprofiler etc
7. Knowledge of relational databases in particular, query plan analysis / tuning, contention/locking analysis and tuning
8. Ability to learn and understand the system architecture quickly in a dynamic environment
9. Familiar with Enterprise architecture.
10. Familiar with SOA [consumer].
11. Good leadership qualities.
12. Good in communication and coordination.
13. Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills. A big part of this job is communicating effectively with other development teams and offshore
14. Experience in Object Oriented design and Design patterns.
15. Good exposure to Software processes (SDLC)
16. Works well in a team environment
17. Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
