Oracle eBS HCM/Payroll Consultants
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Length: 3 Months
Start: ASAP
Overview:
Assist a global enterprise with an upgrade of HCM and Payroll that encompasses tens of thousands of employees. Most of the work will be to analyze the existing payroll implementation, documenting the numerous legacy interfaces and customizations, developing the technical design for eBS R12 and implementing the changes.
· Must be able to design, code, test, debug, maintain, and document technical design
· Performance Tuning PL-SQL– review and modify any slowness on any reports, interface, customization, extensions using explain plan, and tracing
· Provide support for existing applications (reports, interface, conversions, extensions) – critical support to keep the business up and running
· Contribute software development expertise to multiple projects and ensure that specifications are met
Follow established software development standards and procedures; Contribute towards the improvement of development standard. Perform code review with peers
· Perform stress testing on high volume application
· Provide recommendations to address and resolve business issues for business group or functional team
· Recommend business process improvements and research solutions to identify those that can best help serve the needs of the business
· Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
· 5 years of experience implementing and/or maintaining Oracle HCM modules and Payroll. Experience with R12 is required
· 3 years of experience with Oracle Payroll
· Strong working knowledge of Payroll and HR APIs and knowledge of Oracle Alerts
· Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business architecture, administration, AOL, FND etc.
· Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Discoverer, ADI, XML Publisher)
· Strong knowledge in Oracle application extension/customizations, PL/SQL, SQL*PLUS, Forms 6i, Report 6i, Workflow, Shell Scripting and Discoverer
· Good understanding of Oracle Application System Administration
· Provides technical expertise during reviews of design and build components. Completion of at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle 11i project implementations
· Provides guidance, offer suggestions, insights and best practice approaches to design, integration, and development components using AIM methodology
· High degree of adaptability. Incumbent will be faced with a variety of issues on a day-to-day basis and will be expected to respond to these issues appropriately and in a timely manner
· Detail oriented; Results driven; Must be able excel in a deadline driven environment
· Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
