Position: Sr. Java OpenText Developer
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: 6 Months
Position Overview:
Be on the forefront of our client's content integrations and new initiatives that enable their customers access to systems and experiences. Support our client's enterprise content management and distribution system, through complex changes and enhancements analysis, recommend and implement content architectural improvements, coordinate with appropriate business units and IT support teams, and respond to and triage production application issues. Work in highly productive, multi-project environment where team efficiency is critical for success. Responsibilities may include On-Call rotation and production support for customer facing Mobile technologies.
Required Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, or equivalent
* 6+ year's overall hands-on IT experience
* 4+ years hands-on design and development experience with enterprise-scale distributed applications (J2EE)
* 3+ years development experience with defining and consuming XML messages using industry standards for service and binding protocols including SOAP, WSDL, REST, ATOM, JSON, JAXB, JiBX, and edge caching techniques
* 2+ years of experience in Spring MVC and iBatis technologies
* Experience with OpenText and/or Vignette Content Management System
* Core competencies in Java, Spring, Hibernate, Web Services, SOAP, XML and strong skills in SQL is desired
* Proven knowledge of advanced Java technologies, Web Services and Spring framework
* Strong written & oral communication skills, ability to work in a team-oriented environment
* Experience with build management tools like Maven, ant etc.
Desired Qualifications:
* Architecting scalable websites, application tuning, building to standards, and system automation
* SOA and other formal software architecture methodologies
* 2+ years experience in developing applications in the Mobile Technologies
* Demonstrated strong partnering skills
* Willingness to learn new software applications and be part of the production support team activities.
* Demonstrated strong business planning skills
* Proven strong background in detailed analysis documentation
