Role: - Senior Weblogic Administrator/Weblogic Production support Engineer

Location: - St Louis, MO

Client: - AT&T

Duration: - 12 + months

No. of Positions: - 24

Rate: - DOE

 

Required Skills/Competencies:

 

•           24x7 Tier 1/2 production support/Infra experience

•           Troubleshooting, Load Balancing, Clustering/Non Cluster , Deploying Applications, Performance Tuning and Maintenance

•           Working knowledge of Weblogic, JBOSS, UNIX, and Oracle.

•           Create, configure and tune Weblogic domains/applications

•           Deployment and troubleshooting of JAR, WAR, and EAR files in domain and clustered/Non clustered environments,

•           Up gradation of Weblogic servers in development, testing and production environment and applying patch and service packs

•           Weblogic Administration, Monitoring and Troubleshooting using Admin Console and JMX.

•           Work on Web Security tools- LDAP Server, SSL Certificates and client authentication

•           Writing Scripts to handle complex automation / administration using Shell scripting

•           Analyzing the Log Files, Thread Dumps, JVM Dumps, Exception Stack Traces

•           Managing and Monitoring the JVM Performance by adjusting Weblogic heap size and garbage collection parameters

•           Experience using monitoring tools such as Mercury, Wily Introscope, Tealeaf, and Patrol

•           Good oral and written communication skills

•           Development experience in the past preferred

•           Working knowledge of installation and administration middleware server’s in Linux and Solaris environment.

•           Working knowledge of Configuring and Administering JDBC, JMS, JNDI in WebLogic Server 10.3.

•           Working knowledge of Install and configure iPlanet, Apache and Tomcat WebServer in various environments.
