Position: QA Tester
Location: Dallas, TX

Duration: 6+ Months

Interview: F2F after Telephonic

"F2F after Telephonic" 

·     This position is a technical testing role working with an integrated team of requirement analysts, product managers, and developers.

·     The primary objective for this candidate will be to drive the testing process to identify software problems and their causes by developing test plans, test cases, execution of those plans, and reporting.

·     The successful candidates will also participate in business requirement definition sessions with peers and business users.

Responsibilities:-

·     Review and analyze functional and non-functional software requirements for completeness and testability

·     Design test plans, scenarios, scripts and procedures

·     Write traceability matrix to reflect test coverage

·     Create test cases/scripts and execute tests

·     Document and report software defects

·     Prepare test reports

·     Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes

·     Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope and delivery dates

·     Travel is required

Mandatory Skills:-

·     Minimum 5+ years in software application testing.

·     Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor.

·     Excellent Analytical skills with attention to detail.

·     A good understanding of the software development process.

·     Good technical writing skills (for documenting the process).

·     Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

·     Excellent problem solving skills.

·     The ability to work in a team and as an individual.

·     The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

·     The ability to work on multiple projects at one time Education/Experience.

·     Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field required.
