Required Experience/Skills – App/Tech Designer
· High degree of proven learning agility
· Ability to lead discovery discussions with business partners to ensure requirements are captured in a way to facilitate the identification of services and operations.
· Fluent in service-based application solution design
· Ability to perform high level application architecture design per established guidelines with minimal supervision and effectively consult projects based that design
· Ability to develop conceptual and logical application designs
· Ability to ensure application architecture designs meet established policies, principles, and standards
· Ability to develop architecture artifacts (such as Service Dependency Diagrams, Service Interaction Diagrams, and Service/Operation Definitions)
· Hands on experience with of following opensource technologies (and their capabilities):
· JEE
· PostgreSQL
· Spring Framework
· Hibernate
· Knowledge of the Insurance/Financial Industries concepts and terminology is an advantage
· Should have worked in large JEE projects and involved in design and development and successfully deployed the code to production
