Location: Rochester, NY

Bill rate (all inclusive): $40/hr on C2C

Length: 6 months

 

Summary
Develop and design web applications and web sites. Responsible for directing web site content creation, enhancement and maintenance. The technical skills include the knowledge of computer hardware and software.

Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent training required.
10+ years experience required.

Responsibility level
Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor.

Expert leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback. Expert knowledge of computer hardware and software. Expert knowledge of design techniques and principles involved in production of drawings and models. Expert knowledge of computer software, such as Adobe, Java, SQL, etc. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities Supervise the design, build or maintenance of web sites, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools and digital media. Supervise the writing, design, or editing web page content. Direct web site updates. Review problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback and approve the correction of problem. Advise and direct management or development teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria or chose solutions. Direct development or validation of test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces. Maintain understanding of current web technologies or programming practices through continuing education.
