URGENT REQUIREMENT FOR LINUX ADMINISTRATOR IN ATLANTA GA FOR LONG TERM PROJECT
Explanation for Position:
This req is being requested to help support the Linux/Unix infrastructure for Systems
Programming.
Details of Position:
Job Description: • Intermediate Red Hat Linux Administrator (HPUX and AIX a plus) •
Duties /Responsibilities include: o Linux file system management o Manage
configuration files regarding security access o Install 3rd party software on Linux and
Unix OS. o Will participate in OS upgrades, i.e. upgrading Linux OS. (RH 4,5 and 6) o
Add printers to Linux OS o Perform quality build checks of installed servers. o
Conduct audits on servers to ensure environment remains compliant o Manage Linux
VM’s and Physical OS instances o Some scripting knowledge in Shell(Perl and Python
and plus) o Create and test clusters using MC/ServiceGuard and RH Cluster o Write
documentation regarding procedures and processes o Work with Disk Management
Team on Storage Migrations o Participate in Unix to Linux Migrations.

communication skills (written/oral) Have initiative
