Urgent Requirement for Configuration Engineer

Role: Configuration Engineer

Location: Newbury Park, CA

Start Date ASAP

Duration: 6 months to start with .

 

REQUIREMENT:

·         5+ years experience in release and configuration management/engineering roles.

·         Ability to Build and troubleshoot build related issues in Java/JEE applications

·         Knowledge of AIX or a flavor of UNIX and Shell Scripting

·         Software version control using IBM Rational ClearCase.

·         Knowledge of Revisioning and Configuration Management (RCM) concepts (branching, merging, integration, versioning, etc.)

·         Must have knowledge of IBM Rational Build Forge required

·         Must have knowledge of Maven, Ant

·         Should be Process oriented

·         Hands-on experience with web deployments

·         Exposure to agile methods (scrum, sprints, continuous integration) a plus

·         Experience as a programmer is a plus

·         Knowledge of Infrastructure engineering, network and data transfer protocols, XML preferred
