Looking for Windows Technical Support Engineers, Client:Microsoft, Redmond, WA

Rate: $45/hr c2c Max 
Contract: 18+ Months

POSITION 1


Responsibilities :
* Incident management in a 24X7 environment.
* Quickly triage system (hardware) and platform (software) events.
* Manage technical response during critical incidents (Incident Commander).
* Experience in automation and Scripting 
* Drive continuous improvement into the product, process, and technology through analysis and solution design.
* Accountable for operational performance including real-time SLA management, escalation, and communication.
* Develop and maintain operational playbooks that guide engineering teams day to day activities
* Create operational playbooks for strategic product launches
* Champion operability through participation in spec reviews, deployment doc reviews, and feature requests 

Required Skills 
* Operations Experience in a 24 x 7 x 365 enterprise environment
* Demonstrated strategic thinking, quantitative and analytical skills, team leadership, and collaboration
* Excellent problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision making skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Able to communicate to a variety of audiences including engineers, executive management and customers.
* 4-8 years of experience managing high volume web services, Windows Server, and virtualization in a complex, high availability environment
* 4-8 years of experience managing scalable networks with a deep understanding of the OSI Model, DNS, WINS, TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, Routing, ACL*s, and switching
* Experience diagnosing/debugging faults in complex online services
* Working knowledge of enterprise network gear including routers, switches, and loadbalancers.
* Working knowledge of enterprise routing protocols and IP subnetting
* Experience using common diagnostic tools like Netmon, WinDBG and WiresharkAble to diagnose and mitigate faults
* BE/Btech in Computer Science, math, telecommunications, or equivalent education or experience
 
POSITION 2

Responsibilities 
* Change Management (Software deployments) in a 24X7 environment.
* Manage technical response during deployment blockers
* Drive continuous improvement into the deployment process and technology to improve throughput.
* Accountable for operational performance including real-time SLA management, escalation, and communication.
* Develop and maintain operational playbooks that guide engineering teams day to day activities
* Create operational playbooks for strategic product launches
* Champion operability through participation in spec reviews, deployment doc reviews, and feature requests

Required Skills 
* Change and Configuration Management Experience in a 24 x 7 x 365 enterprise environment
* 4-8 years of experience managing high volume web services, Windows Server, and virtualization in a complex, high availability environment
* Experience in automation and Scripting

Responsibilities 
* Building New Clusters in a 24X7 environment.
* Co-ordination with external and internal teams to finding out resolutions to the blockers. 
* Drive continuous improvement into the Build-Out process and technology to improve throughput. 
* Accountable for operational performance including real-time SLA management, escalation, and communication.
* Develop and maintain operational playbooks that guide engineering teams day to day activities
* Create operational playbooks for strategic product launches
* Champion operability through participation in spec reviews, deployment doc reviews, and feature requests 

Required Skills
* Clusters Building Experience in a 24 x 7 x 365 enterprise environment
* Demonstrated strategic thinking, quantitative and analytical skills, team leadership, and collaboration
* Excellent problem resolution, judgment, negotiating and decision making skills
* Experience in troubleshooting application and platform faults in large scale online services
