Title: Web Ops Lead

Job Description:
Specific Responsibilities:
- Responsible for investigation of application problems and issues, root cause analysis, action
plan for resolution, resolution and dissemination of conclusions.
- Will develop and update system administration procedures and work closely with other IT
resources including business analysts, project analysts and server operations.
- Responsible for assisting in the analysis of business requirements and matching appropriate
technology to optimize productivity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly organized, measures success by
customer satisfaction and business results.
- Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of software and web development life-cycle
methodologies.
- Ability to work with business partners to understand their requirements and translate them
into system specifications.
- Provide leadership and direction for emerging technologies in the Internet hardware and
software arena.
- Manage time effectively - uses work plans to prioritize competing and interdependent tasks
and deadlines.
- Programming experience a plus, specifically .NET
Required Experience:
- Must have a minimum of X+ years with solid software and hardware support experience in a
Web administrator function supporting multiple .NET applications.
- Must have hands on experience with securing .NET applications, some .NET coding experience
is a plus.
- Hands on experience with Team Foundation Server and customization.
- Install, configure and support Microsoft IIS 5.0 and 6.0 servers.
- Install, configure and support Microsoft Office Sharepoint Services 2007.
- Install and configure SSL certificates on all web farms.
- Package and deploy applications using install shield and System Center to multiple web farms.
- Good working knowledge of load balancing technologies.
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and 2005.
- Strong knowledge of browsers.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
- Knowledge of Windows 2000/2003 Active Directory and different authentication options
Available for web based applications.
- Excellent oral & written communication skills.
- Ability to be available as needed for on-call 7X24 shift rotations, overtime and off hours
support.
