Essential Functions:
This position ensures business requirements for system enhancements, modifications, systems upgrades, system implementations and code corrections are accurately defined and documented so that they can be translated into efficient and effective system design. It requires both insurance and systems skills that serve to bridge the communication gap between the business and technical areas, assuring that the customers requirements are met or exceeded
Research & Analysis :
Research, analyze and define system-processing requirements for new products, system enhancements, modifications, system upgrades and code changes on small to large projects Initiate and conduct interviews with business units to establish clear, accurate, complete business specifications defining business requirements/needs to assist in producing appropriate system and functional documents based on the type and size of the project Facilitate business specification walkthroughs and obtain appropriate sign off from business units or appropriate personnel
• Provide system and work process advice and guidance that will assist the business units to align technology solutions with business initiatives
• Perform business process analysis, needs assessments, system analysis to determine feasibility, cost, time required, compatibility with current system capabilities to attain quality, and process improvements.
• Serve as a liaison between the business areas and technical staff (ISD)
