REQ:: Ruby on Rails Developer @ Englewood, CO

Hi,

 

Rate:  Negotiable – market rate – please don't call or email me on rate – just submit candidates at market rate – if your rate is too high for the client I'll let you know.  They have not given me a range.

 

Position: Ruby on Rails Developers

Location:        Englewood, CO

Duration         6 Month Contract

Positions:     14 ( 7 front end and 7 back end)

Interview process: Phone interview and not sure about the Face to Face, if anything we will pay expenses

 

IMPORTANT:  Prefer someone that lives in CO or willing to travel or relocate.  We need people on the ground ready to work as soon as possible. 

 

Job description: 

 

The successful candidate must have a working knowledge of software design patterns, a clear understanding of web and system security issues and designing for best application performance.

 

Required Skills:

 

5 + years professional IT experience

3+ years experience performing as a developer using Ruby on Rails

Experience with Agile development techniques

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Ruby/Rails, Java, NoSQL (MongoDB), Search Engine (MS FAST)

Thorough understanding of the (SDLC) software development lifecycle

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work quickly and to tight deadlines

Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel

Must have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills

Must be "self-motivated" as well as creative and efficient in proposing solutions to complex, time-critical problems

Must be a team-player

Ability to deal with multiple projects and deadlines

BS or MS in Computer Science or technical equivalent
