Need: ETL With OBIEE Developer

Location : Dallas, Texas

Duration : 6+months

 

 

POSITION PURPOSE:  

 

The ETL Developer will design, manage, develop and implement new data extracts, transformations, and load routines for the organization as defined by the business or customers.  He/she will be responsible for the resolution of complex systems and programming problems.  Individual selected must have full data warehouse lifecycle development experience and strong technical skills.

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

·       

          Develop ETL for key projects and initiatives

·         Design and implement ETL solutions

·         Prepare key project documents and technical specifications

·         Work closely with key stakeholders to understand the key requirements and service level agreements

·         Performance and tuning of ETL processes and technical documentation related to same

·         Working with project team to plan, design, develop, test, and implement solutions and/or enhancements to existing systems to meet current and future needs

·         Preparing and implementation of data verification and testing methods

·   Forming and executing testing strategies to ensure data quality

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

·         BA/BS in Project Management, Business, Computer Science or related field

·         Minimum of 7+ years experience in data warehouse ETL implementations

·         Advanced knowledge of ETL development tools including such as Informatica or Data Stage a must

·         Database knowledge in Oracle 9I/10G, including SQL, performance tuning, indexing, and partitioning

·         Working knowledge of end-user reporting solutions such as Business Objects preferred.

·         Knowledge of data warehouse concepts (Kimball, Inmon, etc.)

·         Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

·   Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation
