SAP BW/BOBJ Consultant // Smithfield, VA & Kansas City, MO // 3+ Months
Job Title: SAP BW/BOBJ Consultant
Location: Smithfield, VA & Kansas City, MO
Duration: 3+ Months
Specialized/Practical Knowledge:
Must have a minimum of 3 full life cycle SAP BW and 1 full life cycle BOBJ implementation along with 8 years Support/enhancement project experience (Technical 60% and Functional 40%)
Minimum of 6 years experience with SAP BW 3.X, 7.X and 2 years hands on experience on BOBJ XIR2, 3.X platform.
3 years experience in BW ABAP coding to develop custom BW extractor and to extend BW functionality in BW User exits place holder (Virtual KF, Transformation, Variable exit, Process Chain exit etc…)
Expert in all general tasks of SAP BW project such as Data Extraction from SAP/ Non-SAP systems, Data modeling, Report/Workbook designing, Performance Tuning, Process chain, Security and Outbound/InfoSpoke design.
Proficient in Building / Enhancing Universes and creating Adhoc Reports using Business Objects XI and Web Intelligence, Xcelcius, Crystal report and Live office Modules.
Experienced with SAP BW and BOBJ security/authorization concept with hands on experience with BOBJ data services.
Capable of resolving BW or BOBJ production break fixes accordingly to business priority within SLA's
Need to have some exposure to SAP R/3 (FICO, SD, MM, PP) business processes .
Troubleshooting and analytical skills required.
Ability to Identify solutions and communicate recommendations to the business users in non-technical terms, required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, self motivated, must be able identify and resolve issues and meet deliverables deadlines.
