Security Engineer

Location: Washington, DC

Length: 4 month contract plus a likely extension

 

Job Description: Consultant must have LDAP in his/her actual work experience.

 

General Required Skills:

1. Strong technical / hands-on skills

2. Strong analytical/research/documentation skills

3. Ability to work and gain consensus with teams

4. Ability to work independently / self-starter

5. Comfortable working under Project Manager supervision

6. Ability to work non-standard hours (example: Sunday mornings for changes within allowed outage window).

 

Specific Required Skills:

1. Systems Engineer with a minimum of 7 years experience in:

a. Identity Management systems

b. Web-based application security

 

2. Familiarity with mid-tier/mainframe platforms and their associated Operation Systems and Tools including:

a. Scripting languages such as PERL, Unix shell

b. IBM IHS

c. WebSphere

d. Java/J2EE

e. LDAP

f. AIX / Linux / Windows Server
