Position : Website / Wireframe Designer
Location : Baltimore, MD.
Duration : 24 months
The candidate will be responsible for the architecture design, development and implementation of a SOA based JEE based software system
Required Skills:
Experience in organizing details into a complete user interface design specification that will be used as a blueprint for development.
Experience with user research methodologies to better understand users and test the usability of features and conceptual designs.
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and seeing them through completion within or ahead of schedule.
Experience in developing 508 compliance wireframes and utilizing various web development techniques.
Extensive knowledge and experience with Web development, usability, and accessibility issues
Experience designing wireframes with Axure RP Pro or Microsoft Visio.
Experience with graphic design, webpage building and wireframe development, design and implement graphic design to effectively communicate mission and priorities.
Experience using computer-based graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop.
Design and code Web pages using user interface best practices, including accessibility and usability.
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, DOM scripting, and/or AJAX.
Experience creating multimedia, including photo galleries, slideshows, and videos embedded in Web pages.
Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
Desired Skills
Experience serving as the project manager or coordinator for Web projects, including planning, coordinating and leading the maintenance
and development of Web sites and Intranet sites.
Maintain constructive working relationships and effective lines of communications with all team members.
Set priorities and balance staff demands, cope with change and complexity, manage.
Design and implement graphic design elements to effectively communicate business and functional requirements.
Design and code Web pages using user interface best practices, including accessibility and usability. Use HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
DOM scripting, and AJAX. Use code to automatically include content from other sources via RSS and similar technologies.
Create multimedia, including photo galleries, slideshows, and videos embedded in Web pages.
Research trends in Web design, coding, and functionality such as social media. Outline options for senior staff and team members.
Education & Minimum IT Experience.
Minimum of 9+ years experience with MS Degree or 11+ years experience with BA/BS Degree.
