Position: Network Engineer
Location: Chester, VA

Required:

Microsoft Windows Server 2000, 2003 and 2008		Required		5  Years
Microsoft Exchange Server 2007		Required		5  Years
Microsoft Office Professional 2007		Required		5  Years
Windows Active Directory, LDAP, WSUS		Required		5  Years
Cisco routers, switches, wireless access points and ASA firewalls		Required		5  Years
Cisco and Citrix VPN		Required		5  Years
HP Proliant and Blade Matrix servers		Required		5  Years

Advanced working knowledge of and experience with network administration of Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Cisco routers, switches and firewalls
•Thorough, in-depth knowledge of and experience with TCP/IP and all layers of the OSI Model
•Meticulous attention to detail, skilled in providing documentation for end-users, ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and to work both independently and in a team environment
•Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
•Legally eligible to be hired as a state employee
•Desired but not required: working knowledge of VMWare ESX, Citrix XenApp, VPN

Responsibilities include:

•Network administration, security administration
•Installation of patches and upgrades to servers and network devices
•Network security configuration and administration
•Special projects installing server and network equipment and software
