I need a Sr./Lead Java Portal Developer  in Edina, MN. Need a Senior guy 7-10+ years exp and must have good communication skills. Must have the skills listed below in red, at a minimum.  They are looking for a technically strong candidate who can communicate clearly and work with little to no direction.  Send qualified candidates at the rate that backs up their experience.

Duration is 6 months to start. Need someone to start ASAP.

Will hire over the phone, if out of state.

 

 

This position will be redeveloping a major invoicing project on Nash.net. 

 

Java-specific skills: Must have experience with the skills in red below.

·         Websphere Portal

·         JSF

·         Websphere Application Server – they are on 6.1

·         JMS – must have experience with this

·         JPA

·         RAD

·         Javascript  for debugging

·         Portlets – JSR 168 or Portlet lifecycle exp.

·         OR Mappings

·         Annotations

·         SOA, but we're moving away from SOAP

·         RAD and / or Eclipse

·         WAS server configuration skills & server infrastructure skills are a plus

Looking for more of a lead or leadership qualities, at this point 8+ years - great communication skills - Local is desired but not required.
