Title: Websphere Process Server (IBM) Administrator 

 

Duration: 6+ months

 

Location: Tempe, Arizona (Science Drive building)

Job Description:

·         Websphere Process Server (IBM) administrator for web based International ACH application.  This person will work within a team of business product managers, systems analysts, BPEL developers, and system administrators providing Production Support, Application Integration, Integration Engineering, and Code Management for a BPEL on Websphere Process Server environment. 

 

Platform/Skills:

·         Operating System/Linux (Red Hat) – 5+ years required

·         Middleware/Websphere Process Server – 5+ years required

·         Middleware/Websphere Application Server

·         Middleware/Weblogic

·         Web Development/Business Process Execution Language (BPEL)

·         Web Development/Java, JSP

 

Job Roles:

·         Performs complex server and middleware support activities on a Webshpere Process Server environment. 

·         Provides 24/7 technical support for production incidents.

·         Leads the resolution of complex issues or escalates as needed to meet established service level agreements.

·         Completes required logs and reports.

·         Updates and completes documentation, procedures and user guides.

·         Understands BCP, quality assurance, information security and compliance requirements for supported areas and analyzes changes for risk to the environment.

·         Participates in testing and environment validation efforts. 

·         Participates in overall systems testing for interfacing systems of record.

·         Leads the migration of data warehouse changes to production.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

·         5 years of Websphere Process Server Administration, ideally a BPEL running on WPS

·         Familiarity and experience operating in an Enterprise environment using formal procedures and policies required for escalation and outage resolution.

·         Strong documentation skills.

·         Strong knowledge on Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC)

·         Well organized and proficient with details,

·         Excellent interpersonal and team skills

·         Self directed and motivated.

·         Able to navigate through a rapidly changing business and technical environment.

 

Technology Skills Needed:

·         Methodologies – Services Oriented Architecture (SOA)

·         Web Services – WSDL, UDDI, XML, SOAP

·         Operating Systems – Linux, Red Hat

·         Middleware – Websphere Process Server 6.x, Websphere Application Server 5.x/6.x

·         Messaging – Websphere MQ

·         J2EE Skills – Java, J2EE, JSP, JMS, JDBC

·         Versioning – CVS, SVN

·         Database – Oracle 10g
