5 years of experience supporting/developing web services WCF as the Primary and then Production system experience with SQL 2008 and Windows 2008 R2, and IIS 6/7.
A sample of the duties to be performed (other items could be assigned):
Provide operational support for day to day activities by working through service requests and resolving them in compliance.
• Create knowledge base articles for repeatable issues and hand them over to L2 service desk.
• Communicate appropriate and timely status for various concern teams within the organization.
• Provide support to incident and problem management teams.
• Proactively identify issues and provide solutions for sustained and predictable delivery of operational tasks.
• Act as an escalation point for troubleshooting issues on production applications while working with peer teams in data center.
• Proactively identify and log bugs/DCR's to relevant teams in VSTS with thorough follow-up.
• Collaborate with various support and engineering teams to improve the overall quality of delivery
• Use technical expertise in Windows, SQL Server, WMI , web services, networking to enable best practices.
• Identify system problems and recommend solutions to improve processing efficiency and stability.
• Assist in building, implementing and improving processes related with day-to-day Operation
