SAS
I am currently seeking a Statistical Software Developer to work on a contract basis. The hiring manager is open to receiving resumes from recent college grads given that they have the R, SAS, and SQL experience.
Job Description
- Investigate new R packages that can fulfill needs of current and future projects
- Provide debugging support for employees that are exploring R
- Provide formal and informal training to employees across different divisions and subsidiaries
- Migrate projects from SAS to R
- Coordinate the implementation of an enterprise R system
Required Skills
- Four-year degree in Quantitative Business, Statistics, Computer Science/Information Technology, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two years experience in R and its core statistical packages (extensive coursework is eligible)
- Proficiency with SAS and SQL
- Understanding of server management desired
- Excellent communications skills
- Considers business aspects of technical problems
- Proactive and preventive in problem solving
