Sr. QA Analyst (MUST HAVE BANKING EXPERIENCE)
Location: Cincinnati – OH
Duration:6+ Months
Years of Exp: 7- 9 yrs
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Responsible for planning and executing testing efforts of systems, releases, fixes and enhancements, including documentation, reporting, analysis and acceptance.
• Partners with Project Managers, project team and functional business leader to steer projects to success.
• Tests and certifies software, new systems, enhancements, upgrades and fixes to ensure the systems function as documented.
• Executes complex tests according to established plans and scripts, documents problems in an issue log and retests software corrections to ensure problems are resolved.
• Use automated testing tools to increase the speed and functionality tested in the system.
• Develops and updates QA/Software Testing documentation in an efficient and timely manner according to departmental standards and procedures.
• Attends and verifies that walk-through meetings are conducted on code changes.
• Documents the online system and testing procedures, allowing information to be shared with new members of the group trying to learn or test the system.
• Experience with Quality Center & Defect Management
• Effective communication skills & a good team player
