New Requirement- Project Manager- Mobile

Mobile Project Manager-The Project Manager must have a sound understanding of software development and project lifecycles, very specifically within the mobile space as well as an aptitude for emerging technologies.  Among other responsibilities, the Project Manager will develop and manage project artifacts including charters, plans, business requirements, scope statements, budget and risk management as well as stakeholder expectations. The Project Manager should have a strong foundation of managing complex, multi-track projects using a variety of project management methodologies and have the flexibility to lead cross functional teams to deliver integrated technology solutions. 

 

Specifically, the Project Manager will:

  • Oversee the execution and delivery of new products and services specific to emerging mobile technologies 
  • Develop and manage cross-departmental project teams as well as work collaboratively with business owners and stakeholders
  • Ensure that the project scope and measurable success criteria have been defined and are in alignment with the Company’s strategic initiatives and delivered to specification
  • Collaborate with the business and technology to solidify and document requirements and objectives
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, dependencies and budgets
  • Perform risk assessment analysis and mitigation plans
  • Manage on-going issue tracking and resolution
  • Provide on-going stakeholder communications through status calls and other methods as appropriate
  • Follow established project management processes, including reporting, documentation, SharePoint management and collaboration
  • Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle.

 

Qualifications

  • Must have a solid foundation in the Mobile space and working knowledge of emerging platforms including iOS, Android and RIM and a actively stay abreast of emerging technologies
  • Ability to both manage a project team and be a strong individual contributor directly involved in the hands-on work necessary to achieve the deliverables
  • Solid understanding of the software development process, including requirement gathering, analysis/design, development tools/technologies, release/version control, contemporary testing methodologies and deployment management
  • Proven project management skills
  • Good understanding of media content and how it figures into clients’ workflow
  • Ability to differentiate between tactical and strategic issues and influence internal and external customers
  • Strong decision making skills, self-motivated and goal orientated
  • Strong interpersonal skill and communication skills
  • Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations
  • Creative problem solving and negotiation skills
  • College degree required
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) designation a plus
  • Business Analysis skills

 

 

 

Required Experience

  • Minimum 5 years project management experience   
  • Client and vendor relationship experience a must
  • Agile and PMI project methodologies, certifications preferred
  • Minimum 5 years Business and Analysis and Requirements Management
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and SharePoint is a must, experience with Visio and Access
