Job title: Smartphone App Developer
Duration: 9-12 + month
Location: Piscataway, New Jersey
Job Responsibilities:
Develop detailed requirements, design, develop, and test mobile applications for Android and Apple IOS platforms as part of a project for a US Government customer. Candidate will work closely with Client's supervisors and project team. Mobile apps are to be used by military and civilian first responders to enable enhanced situation awareness (including location tracking), communication (including voice and SMS), and observation (including pictures and video).
Requirements and Qualifications:
· Candidate must have BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related discipline with proven ability to develop mobile applications. Specifically, the person should demonstrate:
· Experience in developing mobile apps for Android and/or iPhone mobile platform. Experience in developing distributed mobile apps a must. Ideal candidate will have development experience on both platforms as well as an understanding of tradeoffs involved in working with cross-platform frameworks.
· Ability to create scalable web services for distributed management of data repositories such as user directories, location aggregation servers, and multimedia content. Experience building modular components and SDKs a plus.
· Experience in working in agile environment with good software development etiquette, including configuration management, design based development, and unit and multi-unit testing
