Job Summary:

• Assess testing needs and design and coordinate the automated testing strategy for application suite

• Execute Quality Assurance activities to ensure system performance standards and requirements are met

• Design and build efficient and reusable test cases and test scenarios for functional, regression and performance testing, using automated test suites, as appropriate

• Develop reusable functions to perform common functionality executed in automated test cases

• Support and enhance existing automated testing framework, leveraging QA software products and tools, i.e. QC, LoadRunner, QTP

• Analyze and troubleshoot test script execution issues and test results

• Gain understanding of operating environment, business and applications

 

Required skills/competencies:

• Requires experience performing load testing with web and client/server applications

• Bachelor degree in area of specialty or equivalent experience

• 3-5 years' experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing field utilizing software testing tools, i.e. HP/Mercury Load Runner, QTP and Quality Center.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills

• Analytical: highly organized with strong problem resolution skills

• Dynamic: ability to multitask and handle changing priorities, work independently with minimal direction

• Team working skills: must possess ability to interact with peers in a high-bandwidth and collaborative fashion.

• Results orientation: must be delivery focused and exercise good judgment.

• Proven ability in training and knowledge share with team members

Preferred Skills: 

Preferred Education: Certification with these Load Runner, QTP, and QC, a plus
