Position: ETL Developer at Wells Fargo

Location: Des Plaines, IL

Contract Length: 6 months with the possibility of extensions

Rate: 50/hr (C2C Rate)


DESCRIPTION 
Our client is looking for an ETL developer for an on-going data warehouse project. The ideal candidate would be proficient in ETL development using ODI, database development, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL and Unix. He or she should also have a good working knowledge of STAR/dimensional schema data models using Business Intelligence tools for reporting The candidate must work well with a team and show initiative in regards to developing creative solutions to technical and practical challenges. 
- Demonstrate expertise in the data warehouse/data mart life cycle, developing and deploying both dimensional and relational models. 
- Design and development of ETL processes using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). 
- Debug data issues and tune database queries. 
- Work with Lead Architect in design and developing solutions. 
- Work with Application support team to resolve data load issues. 
- Data load performance tuning. 
- Develop/modify batch load scripts. 
- Work with DBAs. 
- Train internal developers on ODI. 

REQUIRED SKILLS: 
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands on experience to design and implement data warehouse using ODI 11g. 
- 5+ Years of working experience in Oracle database development. 
- 5+ Years of working experience with Data Warehouse development. 
- Development, maintenance and implemention experience in ODI is mandatory. 
- Experience in BI with good understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling concepts. 
- Experience working with a Solution Architect in gathering requirements. 
- Design and Implementing ETLs for a data warehouse. 
- Experience in creating Interfaces for different source and target types using ODI. 
- Experience using ODI SDKs. 
- Experience writing ODI Knowledge modules is desirable. 
- Installation and configuration of ODI is desirable. 
- Proficiency in Unix and shell scripting. 
- Knowledge of OBIEE is preferred. 
- E-business suite knowledge is preferred but optional.
