Location: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 6+ months

Target Start Date: 2 weeks

 

Responsibilities: 

· Responsible for maintaining Informatica systems software and runtime environments.

· Apply hotfixes to Informatica PowerCenter/ PowerExchange

· Analyze Microsoft server upgrades for affects on Informatica environment

· Plan and execute upgrades of Informatica PowerCenter to latest versions

· Providing technical support for the Informatica environment

· Work with infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment including throughput, repository sizing, capacity planning, monitoring and maintenance

· Perform QA and Production deployments

· Working with developers to advise on standards and tool usage

· Backup / Recovery of Informatica software, repository and configurations

· Creation and maintenance of technical documentation, deployment diagrams and check-lists Conducting research into Informatica related issues and working with developers and the vendor when necessary.

 

Required Skills:

· 5 + years experience working in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment

· 3 + year experience with Informatica PowerCenter

· Experience with PowerCenter GRID/HA environment preferred

· Experience with PowerExchange for SAP, CDC, TPT and SalesForce.com a plus

· Scripting background helpful (Windows PowerShell / PERL etc)

· Strong database knowledge (TeraData, DB2, Microsoft SQL Server)

· Experience with Data Warehouse lifecycles and methodologies

· Good experience with SAP BW w/ Informatica.

· Prior experience / admin role on an EDM/EIM team

· Ability to participate and contribute in a team environment, and to work with users of all levels to identify requirements and deliver timely results.

· Very good technical, communication and interpersonal skills

· Sound judgment and decision-making, and the appropriate sense of urgency

· Good documentation skills with both technical and non-technical information
