Hello!  I have a need for a BMC/Remedy consultant for a project in Minneapolis, MN for 1.5 months.  Rate is open.  Please see below position description and appreciate any help you can provide.  This is for Hennepin County.

Description of Work:

The Information Technology Department is beginning an expansion of its use of the BMC/Remedy tool suite. Hennepin County owns several of the suite modules but only utilizes a small margin of the available capability.

Prior to implementing any further expansions and/or changes to the existing Remedy instance, Hennepin County is looking to engage a vendor in an implementation Health Check, focused on both the Remedy tool and the staff that support it in the following ways:

         Guide the configuration changes to the current SRM solution for Incident Self-Service, so that it can be expanded to more than the Human Services (HPSD) LOB.

         BMC / Best Practice Gap Analysis –feedback on the Hennepin County implementation of its current modules relative to recommended best practices.  The current Remedy implementation includes Incident, Service Request management, Asset Management, and Knowledge Management.

         Assess the current support structure and staff skillsets - make recommendations for training and support structure that will improve the team's agility to meet objectives in a timely manner.

         Remedy Skills Enablement – Conduct a workshop for the ITSM Configuration and Support Team (3-5), to help them understand the capabilities and configuration capabilities of implemented service modules, with an emphasis on Service Request Management.  The goal is to enable this team to understand Remedy best practices, so that they are able to create smart and effective business solutions.

         Staff Augmentation – while enabling the ITSM Configuration and Support Team, there is need for additional resource to provide oversight and support for in flight efforts.

         Service Request Deliverable – review in-place sub-processes (already gathered) used to provision new hires, from a technology perspective, and help to co-create an end-to-end solution used to manage the client's overall technology request.  Note: Existing sub-processes are to be left in place for the initial solution.
