Looking for a Health Care Data Analyst to work as part of the Data Management & Analysis (DMA) Team. Data reporting services include producing ad hoc reports, developing automated reports, and creating data analytic presentations with high quality data visualizations. The Health Care Data Analyst must have an understanding of the healthcare industry, administrative claims, capitation, and enrollment data concepts. The ideal candidate will have a blend of health care knowledge and technical skills necessary to perform health care data analytics and reporting.

PREFERENCES:
•Report development experience with SAP Business Objects XI R2 (Deski and Webi)
•Proficient in automated reporting solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence Development Studio 2008/Visual Studio 2008
•Familiarity with Microsoft .NET C# or VB.NET

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Perform health care data analytics and reporting
•Complete assigned requests and projects timely
•Meet with customers to understand reporting needs and gather requirements
•Maintain a positive relationship with customers and other vendors
•Follow work flow procedures
•Comply with data standards and policies
•Adhere to quality assurance processes to review and verify work for accuracy

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor Degree related to health care, public health, computer technology, or statistics
•5+ years experience within health care data analytics and reporting
•5+ years experience writing queries and processes with SQL Server 2005, 2008, or Oracle 10g
•Superior problem-solving capabilities and learning agility
•Demonstrate understanding of healthcare claims and enrollment
•Possess proficiency in Microsoft Excel using formulas, graphs and charts, and report formatting techniques
•Possess motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies that demonstrate value
•Excellent written and oral communication skills
•Strong organizational and time management skills
•Capability to work in a team environment, as well as independently
