DESCRIPTION: 

Our CLIENT is looking to hire Senior Mainframe developers. This position will provide expert level programming and analysis for the document generation sub-system replacement project and projects with federal, state, administrative mandates. The program is a large/complex (1000+ program, 400+ table) MVS/COBOL/DB2/CICS System. Successful candidates must have proven development experience in MVS/COBOL/CICS/DB2/JCL languages, structured analysis and design, as well as an understanding of full Systems Development Life Cycle. Project duties will be to work as a programmer analyst and part of a team to develop and maintain child support applications. Project duties will also include analysis, design, coding, testing, quality assurance, development of user documentation, training materials and help screens. 

First consideration will be given to those applicants who:

 a) have advanced experience in development and support of large (1000+ program, 400+ table), complex mainframe MVS/DB2/COBOL/CICS/JCL systems using the identified tools.

b) experience working with Child Support Enforcement Systems.

 Duration:      24 months

DESCRIPTION :

Systems Architect leads the design and development of next generation internal business systems. Possesses experience in software design and development with a focus on the integration of internal business systems across multiple functional areas, notably finance/accounting, financial transaction processing, etc. In addition, with packaged systems evaluation, selection and implementation in the areas of Finance, Accounting and/or ERP systems. Possesses experience in design and integration of business applications and enterprise IT infrastructure. Designs IT infrastructure components and architecture. Experience with design and development of custom modules/solutions and the integration of these components with packaged solutions. Proven methodology experience for complex systems integration projects and demonstrated ability to achieve deliverables on time and on budget. Systems Architects capabilities with 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
