SOA Architect

·         Oracle suite of products with a great background in remote services and Oracle Applications.  We are looking to expand our technical services solutions and need someone like you.

·         Summary of Role and Deliverables - Define the technical architectures for our clients, working from high level requirements and through detailed specifications and prototype - Work directly with client representatives to understand business and user requirements and flesh out technical implementation based on those needs - Develop architecture strategy, including migration and implementation plan - Implement the product offering using your designed architecture- Mentor the other team members, write and review white papers, and help guide process- Ability to travel up to 80% of the timeRequired Technical Skills - Proven Service Oriented Architecture Expert- Ability to design, implement and deploy high throughput service oriented architectures- 5+ years integrating systems, including high-availability architectures- Experience with commercial and open source SOA Architectures- Experience implementing BPEL, Web Services, - Strong J2EE coding skills, with a background in leading small high performance teams- Understanding of the issues around the use of web infrastructure technologies such as session management, web caching, virtual hosting, DNS- Understanding of a message brokering / bus architecture- Working understanding of XML, SOAP, UDDI, WS-*, SOA Governance, Web Services ManagementAdditional Requirements: - Experience with the Oracle Web Services Manager- Experience with Oracle BPEL Manager (Collaxa)- Experience with Tibco or MQSeries- Experience with Portal Environments and Dashboards- Desire to work in a small, fast-paced environment - Excellent interpersonal skills - Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss- Working knowledge of BPM Tools

 

Education and Experience 

·         BS or MS in Computer Science or Information Systems with 3-5 yrs. experience in SOA/BPEL projects

·         The successful candidate should have the combination of education and experience that provides the basis for delivering the necessary job functions, skills, and knowledge as described in this job description.
