Job Summary
The individual will work independently and in small teams to provide technical specifications for data integration for products and projects for a healthcare data warehouse that integrates data from clinical applications, research databases and files, and external sources. The Developer will work directly under the guidance of leadership and project management, focusing on extraction of data from source systems, staging data, integration of disparate sources, and preparation of data marts and extracts supporting end user usage solutions.
Skills/Experience
-
4-8+ years of ETL development experience, preferably within IT or Healthcare. Experience within data warehousing is also preferred

Bachelors Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Masters Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, preferred

Hands on experience with reporting, and must have strong SQL skills
-
Extensive hands on experience with stored procedures
-
Extensive hands on recent experience with Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server, and/or DB2
-
Must have extensive hands on development experience with SAP BO Data Services
-
Must have experience with SAP Data Services (4.0), SAP Business Objects BI, and Business Objects Data Integrator.

Must have experience installing and administering SAP BI software stack
-
Must have experience performance tuning SAP Data Services Data Flows
-
Experience with SAP BO Information Steward and SAP BO Xcelsius Enterprise is a plus
-
Understanding of data integration problems, including validating and cleaning data

Must have excellent analytical and communication skills
Must take initiative and be a self-starter, be flexible, detail-oriented, a team-player, and work well independently, good problem-solver, and must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
