Job Title:ETL developer with SAS
Location :Arlington VA
Duration :6 Months plus
Required 8 to 10 years experience
Job Description:
The ETL Developer will be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
•Responsible for identifying data sources, transformation and loading with SAS as the ETL tool
•Responsible for database cleansing, data mapping and data access across multiple environments
•Responsible database programming including developing stored procedures, PL SQL code and database views in Oracle 10g or higher
•Additional responsibilities include working with database administrators and project teams to gather functional specifications for data requirements
•Evaluate database design and performance impacts to recommend improvements
•Nice to have familiarization with following Enterprise Architecture guidelines and governance
Required Skills:
Ideally, the individual filling this role with have experience in the following areas:
•6+ years of experience with developing ETL solutions with SAS including: SAS 9.1.3 or 9.2
•4+ years of experience with Proc SQL, Macro development and ODS
•4+ years of experience with SAS Access for Oracle and Sybase, SAS Proc Means/Summary
•Extensive experience PL/SQL, SQL, Stored Procedures using Oracle 10g (required) and Sybase (nice to have)
•Experience supporting operations and working closely with clients
•Excellent writing and communications skills
Preferred Skills:
•Experience using JAVA
•Experience with data services
•Understanding of LDAP
